The current Jim's Foodliner location in the heart of Cheney, Kansas, began as a grocery store in 1964. The store was known as Dewey's IGA when Jim McGuffey bought the business in 1988.
In 1990, the store became affiliated with Thriftway, part of Associated Wholesale Grocers and distributer of the Best Choice and Always Save food lines. An addition in 1993 expanded the size of the store, providing customers with a larger selection of food and merchandise. |
